I can't help myself. I love her. Maggie is the best dog ever. EVERY day on vacation I spent at least an hour every morning trying to get kisses from here. Here's a lovely montage we put together proving, that I will never stop loving dogs...

Landed!
Today we landed in Colorado! It wasn't really what I expected, especially since Mom made such a big deal about finding me the perfect snow boot - there's no snow here!! Even without snow though, it's beautiful!
Here we are on a nice walk outside the condo by the creek... and it's at least 60 degrees! I did manage to pick up a small snow ball... it was really cold!

Our Last Play Date...
Today was Betsy's last day, did I tell you already that her fiance got a new job opportunity in California? Well, he did and we were all very sad to hear that she would be moving in April; but it's a great opportunity for both of them and so we were also very excited!
While the moving thing is sad, our last day together wasn't sad at all! We had the best day ever! We played with all our friends, went out to lunch, walked in the park, we did everything we love! It has been so amazing having her as my nanny for the past year, she's really more like an awesome big sister or the coolest aunt ever. She's basically part of our family. She has helped me grow and learn so much - I would have never learned 30+ animal noises and actions with out her (who would have ever thought to teach me the flamingo, that is going to be an awesome party trick one day). Let's not forget that she taught me sign language, which has helped me avoid tantrums on numerous occasion as I can actually tell Betsy, Mom and Dad what I want. Or how about walking - she is a great gross motor skill teacher too! She also took me to countless Bubbles classes, Music classes, Gymboree classes and Swimming classes. She even helped me eat my first solid foods (although she never did get me to like carrots).
There are so many other little and big things that she has helped me that I could never thank her enough for!!
I will miss her so much, but I am looking forward to our constant skyping and hopefully a few visits every now and then. Bye-bye Besty & Cole - and good luck! We will miss you and I will never forget you!!!

Walking the Dog
Yup, That's me, walking Rudy! I'm practicing for our trip to Colorado when I get to spend everyday with Maggie, Grandma & Grandpa's big black lab!
Thanks for brining Rudy over to play Kelli!

Another New Hair Style
Actually, here's 2 new hair styles... but I don't think we'll be repeating these.
First up - BOWS! Here I am trying to see how many bows I could possibly fit on my head. I went though ever bow I had. I liked it at first, but after a few minutes those bows started to give me a headache!
Up next, we had another There's Something About Mary moment...

An Ear Infection & A Molar
Maybe it was the flights to and from columbus, maybe it was my mom's cold, maybe it was my 1/2 day of school... we may never know for sure, but I do know that I never again want to have an ear infection and a new molar coming in at the same time. It's nothing but pain and misery - for me and mom & dad. It started over the weekend with lot of green boogers, then came a hacking cough and a temperature of 101 that spurred mom and dad to make an appointment for me at the doctor. Then came the diagnosis, an ear infection. Get her on antibiotics and get her plenty of fluids and rest.
Okay, so honestly, this ear infection thing wasn't too bad. I did get a really high fever - like 104 that woke me up in the middle of the night on Monday & Tuesday, but then my fever broke and I felt great all day Wednesday. Until Wednesday night when my molar began pushing though - do you know what that feels like? To have this giant tooth trying to push its way into your tiny mouth - and you have no idea what's really happening to you? I couldn't eat, I couldn't drink, I couldn't sleep, I wouldn't take tylenol, I couldn't do anything but scream in pain, fall asleep for about 20 minutes at a time on mom or dad, then wake up screaming again the second I felt them try to put me down in my crib... why would they try to make me face this alone? There was no way I was going to let them out of my site during my time of need. Finally they got the idea and just threw me into bed with them (and the ipod) where I watched bubble guppies until I finally passed out from 5am - 9am.
It still wasn't all better in the morning... Mom was able to actually catch my last episode on tape. It's not pretty, but it's real people.
Poor mom & dad, imagine this all night long, seriously, all night long (sorry guys, but thanks for sticking with me, I love you!). After this final release though, I was done, and went on to be a normal person again. I took a good long nap and then went to bed at 7:30 - and slept all through the night - till 9:00. Ah, sweet sleep, finally. And my molar is in... but I heard it's only the first of 4 that will come in this year. I guess if it only lasts 1 night I should thank my lucky stars... but it would be better if the next 3 just magically appeared instead. Here's to hoping!

First Day of School!
Well, it was only 1/2 a day but still, it was my first day of school! Can you believe it? I felt like such a big girl. Mom packed me a back pack full of my favorite things and we walked to school.
I was a little unsure of everything at first, but like I said earlier, I really like the teachers so it wasn't all bad. There were 5 other kids in the class, but only 1 other girl! She said she was really glad that I was going to start coming because she needed reinforcements. I think I'm going to like her a lot. Plus, mom said my friend Molly might start coming with me in a few more months too so soon the girls might out number the boys!
We all eat breakfast and lunch together, at a cute little kid table, which I really enjoy. And we take naps on these fun cots - no cribs needed here! It's a good think I can sleep anywhere. We also go outside everyday to play! Today, during class we learned all about big and little things and even had a cooking lesson - we made ants on a log with celery, cream cheese, and raisins. Can you believe that!
I did miss mom and dad and was pretty tired of all these new people by the end of the day. I couldn't wait for mom to pick me up and was so happy when she came to get me, but I still waived goodbye to all my new friends and blew my teachers a kiss. See you next week!
