Fun With Grandma Nancy

Grandma Nancy came in to visit last week! My mom had to go to this thing called work all week so Grandma and I got to hang out all day long. It was so much fun! She is always dressing me up in the cutest outfits and she gives the best baths! Thanks for hanging out with me Grandma, I miss you already! Love you!!

Everyone Poops....

Now, no one be alarmed, but I wanted to let you all know that I recently had to have a little exam at the Children's Hospital; I had to have some anesthesia for it and since I'm technically a premie, I ended up having to stay overnight in the hospital to be monitored - just in case.

I'm not sure how much fun my mom had sleeping in this pull out chair thing, but I was having a blast! I was the hit of the recovery room; being the youngest has its advantages! And I made some great friends - thanks so much Nurse Sally & Nurse Melody for taking such good care of me.

So what was this exam all about? The details are a little fuzzy to me, so ask my mom if you want the full story, but here's what I know. Pooping is rough for me. I'm not that good at it, and it turns out there's a good reason for that! I've got some crooked things going on in there and as a result of the exam,  it was decided that I'm going to have surgery to get everything straightened out, literally, so that I can poop as easily as everyone else! After all, everyone poops!

The surgery is next week and I'll keep you updated on how everything goes, but I should be at home resting comfortable a couple days afterwards.

I'm a big girl now....

Or at least getting close! I'm a healthy 11lbs 5oz and I am making serious progress in the bebe pod chair... still a little wobbly, but we'll get there!

I've also been hanging out with my Chicago boy friend, Joey, lately too. He's 6 weeks older than me and his hand/eye coordination is amazing! I'm hoping we have another play date soon!

Kickin' it old school, again...

Check out the old school outfit my mom put me in the other day. A nice crisp corduroy, even if it was fraying at the ends a little, it was still pretty fun to be hanging out in it. I felt a little like Gretel from that Hansel and Gretel story Mom was telling me about the other day.

In keeping with the fairy tale theme, here's a little red riding hood get up I was in the other day too...

Crawling...

Okay, I'm not crawling yet, but I've been getting a lot of practice lately. I'm getting better at Tummy Time every day but I've found that when I get sick of it, all I have to do is launch myself over the boppy and start screaming. Usually I need to start screaming because I hit my head on this shinny thing they always put in front of me. Mom and Dad come sweeping in to pick me up, works like magic every time.

Photo Shoot

Mom and Dad bought a new camera and have decided that taking pictures of me is the best way to test it out. I can't say that I blame them, I am looking pretty good these days, but every day it's like they have to take 100 pictures of me doing the same thing! You're lucky I've picked out only the best of the best for the blog, otherwise you'd be bored outta your mind looking at all of them (they do need the practice - they're far from professionals yet). Enjoy!

Here's mom and I getting in some cuddle time...

My Great Aunt Ruthie game me this bedazzled outfit, so flashy panachey....

Dad and I got some quality time together...

3 Months!

I made it to 3 months! We had quite the photo shoot for the event. There's even some naked baby pics, so embarrassing!

Grandma Fran!

Shortly after we got back from Cincinnati Grandma Fran came to visit! We had a great time hanging out and playing around...

Boy Friends

Moving to Cincinnati might not be too bad for my social life. Turns out I have a ton of boy friends that live in Cincinnati, and might I add that they are all pretty darn cute! Ladies and Gentlemen let me introduce to you my new favorite people in Cincinnati:

I've heard my mom talk about them but it was great to finally meet them all in person.

Charlie's curly hair was driving me mad, look at it, isn't it amazing. The problem is he might be cuter than me. He was cool as a cucumber in his cozy flannel button down and cargo pants.

I could stare into Easton's big blue eyes for an entire day-  and he was looking extra sharp in his pink and blue checked button down shirt, very dapper. Being an older man, however, he was more interested in my Grandma's Honey Bear than me. Give me a few years though and I think I could win him over.

And Carson, aren't those cheeks to die for? I just wanted to eat them up, plus he is more my age. He was moving a little fast for me though, he was getting frisky with me right off the bat! I guess I don't blame him, I was looking extra cute that day!

While my boy friends were the highlight of the day, I did have a good time with everyone else that came to Grandma & Grandpa's for a small celebration. I put on my party dress and had so much fun meeting all my parents and grandparents friends. Thank you all so much for coming over and saying hi! I loved meeting you all and can't wait to see you again soon!!!

Aunt Julie's Baby Shower & Meeting Natalie

I slept like a baby after all that work I did in front of the camera on Friday night, which was good because I needed all my energy for Saturday. It was a big day!

First, we headed out to Aunt Julie's baby shower. She got tons of cool presents and I was starting to get jealous, I mean I just didn't understand why she gets so many cool things I didn't have any! I may have had a slight breakdown in my party outfit, but then my Great Aunt Joan gave me this fabulous doll and my Great-Great Aunts Dellie and Ruthie gave me a cool ball and an awesome outfit. That's when the party really started to get good. My Great Gram held me during most of the present opening and after that it was time for me to shine (although it's hard to do anything but shine when you have leopard print on your butt!). I was passed around from aunt, to cousin, to great aunt, to great uncle, to grandma, and on and on until I eventually made it back to mom!  The party was a huge success and made me very excited to meet my new cousin! He better hurry up!

After the shower we headed over to Natalie's, another one of my favorite girl friends. Her parents, Kristin & Zak, used to work with my Mom. Angie & Matt were there too, and they have a baby on the way too! He and my cousin are suppose to get here on the same day... I can't wait! Natalie and I had a great time hanging out (aka - staring at each other). She was trying to teach me how to smile and stick my tongue out, I was trying really hard, but I'm just not as good at it as she is. I think with practice though I may be able to get there, I want to be just like her when I grow up!

I begged mom not to post this picture! I was having so much fun with Dad I spit milk out my nose and ruined this picture, but she insisted it was still cute. Please excuse my mess!

Road Trip!

The other weekend my Mom and Dad took me on this extremely long car ride and when we finally stopped we were at Grandma and Grandpa's in this place called Cincinnati. I'm not sure what a Cincinnati is, but I loved it – mainly because everyone there loved me! I was the center of attention everywhere I went! Can you imagine what that's like? It's fantastic.

First we hung out with Grandma & Grandpa, who are always so nice to me and telling me they love me. They even fixed me up my own room! I was worried I was going to have to sleep with Mom and Dad, that would have been a nightmare, they make so much noise in their sleep I always wake up. Having my own room was perfect.

Then Aunt Julie came over along with my Mom's best friend, Shelly, and her husband Jeff. It was a picture taking marathon! Don't they look silly? I had so much fun hanging out with everyone though, it was a great day!
