Hello 8 Months!

It's official! I'm now 8 months old! I can't wait to see what's in store for me this month. I heard a rumor that we might be going on vacation and that my Texas grandparents might come and visit. We'll have to see...

Goodbye 7 Months

It's been fun, I learned how to crawl and pull my self up to stand up on everything. I had my first swimming lesson and my first dunk underwater!  Oh and I got my first TOOTH! It's on the bottom, the front one on the left. Still no sign of the right one yet, but I can't wait to start chomping on real food soon. I also got to see a lot of my friends and I spent 2 nights away from Mom & Dad with Grandma & Grandpa Roudabush. It was quite a month, but I'm ready to turn 8 and see what else is out there!

NATALIE!!!!

Before I left Cincinnati, Mom took me over to her friend Kristin's to see Natalie! Natalie and I have hung out before, but now that we are both mobile it was so much more fun!!! She's a little bit older than me so I was able to learn a lot from her and I was really sad to leave at the end of the night. I hope that we all get to hang out again soon! I miss you already Natalie!!

Cincinnati Vacation

This week we went to Cincinnati for a long weekend visit. Mom and Dad had to go to a wedding for Joanne and Zack. I like Joanne and Zack, sometimes I hang out at their place while Mom and Joanne watch So You Think You Can Dance. I didn't get to go to the wedding, I did see pictures though and it looked BEAUTIFUL! While I felt a little left out, it was really okay becuase I got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Roudabush ALL WEEKEND LONG! We had so much fun! Here's a run down of the weekend highlights:

1. Will, my 3.5 month old cousin, and I got to hang out ALOT! We played with all our toys and spent some quality time in the cool pool grandma & grandpa bought us.

2. I got to eat Watermelon! First I tried to just eat it, but I took way too big of a bite and almost choked on it. After that I was no longer allowed to bit it, but they gave me this cool fruit sucker thing to use instead. It's got a mesh bag on it and you put the fruit inside the bag and then i get to suck the fruit out, which guarantees I can't get too big of a bite and almost choke again!

3. I got to see meet my new friend Brian! His Mom, Carrie, and my mom were college roommates (I know, my mom had a lot of college roommates!) and now they all live in Cincinnati. His Dad, Denny is a big hunter and I got to play with their giant deer stuffed animal (it was a little freaky). Brian was so nice and could even say my name! Baby Kate! I can't wait to see him again

4. Grandma took lots of photos of me, I think they could probably win some awards I look so darn cute in them! Grandpa also got in on the fun and fed me dinner every night and Great Grandma and Great Grandpa came over a lot too!!

5. I learned how to High 5! Well sort of, I think I do it right....

Pool Time with Joey

Once again Kristin & Josh, probably my most favorite non-baby friends, invited us all over for some pool time! Joey came this time too and we had these cool floaty things to play in! I got to ride in the turtle, which is actually Joey's, but he's so nice he shared it with me. We played in the water for over an hour. Dad dunked me a few times, which I actually think is pretty fun - but Joey did it once and that was enough for him! He was not a fan of going under. After pool time we had a big barbecue and lounged around on the patio talking and relaxing. It was a great time and I can't wait to do it again (hint hint)! Thanks Josh & Kristin!!!

Fun Fun Everyday!

I have been having such a great month! In addition to learning to crawl I am constantly on the move with Mom and Dad and Betsy! I started a new round of Bubbles classes - Bubbles Crawlers - which is exciting since it's for the next age group!

In addition to that I go swimming all the time and we've even been to this new place called Little Beans, which is a cafe for kids! I get to run around (okay crawl around) and play with all these cool new toys; they have pianos that are my size I can bang on, and mini houses to play in and cars just for me!

I also keep meeting new people, earlier this month I got to meet another Henry - he's only 3 months old, but I'm excited for him to start getting older so we can play (he's the little guy in that baby bjorn below, I'm with his mom and dad - Todd and Heather - they were super nice)!

Oh and I got my first bruise! Can you see it? It's on my head, you can see it in the picture on the far left and the far right... nothing major, just a little head bump from all that crawling! It cleared up quickly and I'm all better now, nothing is going to slow me down!
