Girl Friends...

I had a lot of fun hanging out with some of my new girl friends last week. We had a blast hanging out and rolling around, even though they are a bit older than me.

I went over to Michelle and Dave's house to hang out with Charley, who is 8 months old! She has a piano, can clap already, and is about to start crawling! She's kind of awesome, although she pulled my hair when we first got there, but I think she was maybe just jealous of all these long locks I've got, and I forgave her quickly.

Then we also went to lunch with Blake, Shalee, and Ella! Our mom's had a little too much fun putting us in matching outfits. I'm surprised they didn't wear purple too! Ella is a bit older, almost 16 months and was standing around wondering what to do with me, but since she's got that beautiful head of hair herself, she didn't pull my hair. Ella has an awesome kitchen set and this super comfy kid sized arm chair that I'm going to start asking my mom and dad for. How long do you think it'll take before they give in?

Super Babble

I am a talking fool these days. I have so much fun talking with Mom and Dad they usually say the funniest things. Although my mom keeps repeating basic sayings like "really" and "what are you saying" over and over and over, she needs to work on her baby talk.

Oh also, I squirm around so much when I'm eating (and mostly when they try to burp me) that I manage to turn almost ever bib I wear completely around. I wear it as a cape, I'm super baby! Mom flies me around the house and I rescue my lovie monkey from the ground. It's sweet. 

SUCKER

Thumb Sucker that is! I've gotten really good at sucking my thumb these past few weeks. it started out as a fist, then I managed to get a few fingers, then my index finger and my thumb, then finally just my thumb! It's exhausting, but totally worth it... it tastes so good!

Valentines Day....

Valentines day is awesome, it's so full of love (and presents for me)!

And of course, mom made more cake pops!

Triple Date Brunch...

Sunday I went to brunch with my mom & dad and some of their friends. Apparently before I came along the 6 of them used to have these wild game nights, now they just have a nice quiet civilized brunch with me!

Catch Up Blog....

Sorry I haven't written in a while, I got really busy. There's a ton of stuff to do when your my age and I keep everyone running around. Here's a quick update of what's been going on...

I eat 5 times a day.
I now weight 10 lbs.
I usually sleep till about 6am, when I wake up crying because I've manage to turn my self around in the crib and can't figure out what is going on. I usually go back to bed once mom turns me around till about 8.
I get baths about every day, which I love.
My mom's made enough cake pops to feed a small country.
Oh and I love to babble!

Month 2 Photo Shoot

For some reason Mom forgot to post these with my month 2 blog, so here they are now, just a little late. I'm getting chubbier by the day!

Blizzard of 2011

Well, it certainly did snow! Not quite sure it should be called the storm of the century though, we'll have to just stick with the blizzard of 2011. The best part was that dad got to stay home and hang out with me because all his classes were canceled! I love Kate & Daddy time!

Later on when the sun came out Mom and Dad got all dressed up, put about 8 layers of fleece on me, and took me outside in the snow! I was slightly underwhelmed and slept through my first trip, so they forced me to do it again later on in the day too. There was a cool fort a group of adults had made, but by the time we got down there some spoiled kids had started to destroy it. Here's some pictures of the blizzard...

My Aunt Cheri sent them to me for Valentines Day. I think they look sweet on me, but my mom wouldn't let me wear them out of the house. We ran a few errands today with Grandma Fran and since it was sooo cold I got all bundled up for the trip.

Then Grandma Fran had to leave. She said the storm of the century was coming to Chicago and she had to get back to Texas before she got stuck here. I did not like that one bit, here's my pouty face...

Happy Birthday Grandma!

On Sunday we headed over to Marie's house (she's the one who babysat me the other week) for a little get together for my grandma's birthday! It was great, I got all dressed up in my party outfit and then got to be passed around so that everyone could hold me. I love cuddling so this was the perfect party for me!

Grandpa Mike Surprise!

Over the weekend we all got a big surprise when Grandpa Mike flew in to surprise Grandma Fran for her birthday! It was great to see him again, I was worried with his crazy work schedule it was going to be April before I got to hang out with him again! We had a great time just relaxing on Saturday and then we went to Francesca's on Taylor for dinner, although I slept though all of that - I remember it smelling pretty good in there! He left early on Sunday but it was great to see him nonetheless!
